the only portrait I did all week…moving the portrait machine to another part of town next week…we finally found the missing part to the Mentor Panorama…soon I’ll be shooting 18x24…cm of course…I don’t have a lens yet just an old projection lens I wanna try out…Liesegang Düsseldorf Novotrinast Anastigmat f:3.6 330mm…no apertures…no fancy shit…by the way…while looking for something else I found 300 sheets of my beloved Orwo BH1…it’s only single weight but it contacts like butter…fibre printing here we come again…yeehaw!
Scan of the papernegative and then some…

On my quest to gain some knowledge about c-mount adapters for my lumix…I came across The.Mutator…not only was he generous enough to let me borrow his adapter…he also tossed his lenses my way…thanks for that! Now I know his adapter doesn’t let me focus my lens to infinity…it’s too thick…it doesnt get close enough to the sensor…but I can focus to about 1,5 meters or 5 feet…good enough for me…plus since it’s further away, from the sensor, than it should be, the vignetting is also heavier…

He found me through my tumblr…how crazy is that? At first I wasn’t so happy with the shot…but I cropped it a little bit…a thing I usually don’t do…and now I think it’s quite alright…actually…the longer I look at it…happiness restored! :D

Does anyone here on tumblr have some expertise with micro 4/3 adapters?…lately I came into the the possession of a few c-mount lenses…one of them a dallmeyer ultrac 25mm f:0.98 and a bunch of no name zooms…obviously I need a c-mount adapter for my lumix gx1…I just find it incredible hard to decide which brand to buy, that let’s you focus to infinity…ideas anyone?

We had a gig at the fleamarket yesterday…didn’t go so well…luckily there wasn’t any business…I made a bad choice for setting up the “studio” and I paid for it…maybe I’ll post a image later so you can see what I’m talking about…lost a lot of shadow detail…especially in the eyes and and everywhere else where there is shadow…the pictures where alright…but i wasn’t happy…of course I already devised a plan how to tackle the problem. Otherwise it was great…I met some new people…and we are always welcome to come back! I need a smaller darkbox though…desperatly…the one I have is just too big…really…it’s a tank! Way too much hassle to wheel it through town…Have a great week every one-Django
